We are a veteran owned company and all of our rubs & sauces are made in Wisconsin!

In addition, we use only natural ingredients with no additives or fillers.  Our products are gluten and GMO free. 

While we strive to help people cook great food, we also are passionate about giving back to the military & veteran community. 

Locally, in Wisconsin, we’ve partnered with several non-profits to provide products and donations to their causes.

About Burn Pit BBQ

Our names are Greg & Ben.

Greg served in the Marine Corps from 2002-2006. He deployed 3 times in support of Operation Iraqi & Enduring Freedom.

Ben comes from a military family and has been a huge supporter of veteran and military causes.

We met while in college and became fast friends.

While going to school and starting our careers, we became fascinated with grilling and smoking meats.

We've learned a lot through countless smoke sessions and really bad cooks!

We hope to share with you what we have learned about the art of barbecue and things we are still figuring out!

Not too spicy, not too sweet. Just the right balance that keeps go coming back for more, bite after bite. I have tried Fire for Effect as a dry rub on both pork ribs and chicken wings. I've got to say that once I started eating, I couldn't stop!. I used a good amount of seasoning on both meats to ensure I got the full flavor effect. Great work Burn Pit BBQ. I will be needing to put in another order soon because this season has been a family favorite.
