12 inch cast iron skillet
Apple or Cherry Wood for smoking

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box dark chocolate brownie mix - family size
  • ingredients listed on your brownie mix box
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21oz)
  • 2 oz bourbon (adjust to your taste)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the smoker to 325 degrees F (you can also follow the directions according to brownie mix box.)

In a large bowl, stir together ingredients listed on brownie box with brownie mix. Add pie filling and bourbon.

Spray cast iron with non-stick spray or use butter to lightly coat the bottom and sides. Pour in brownie mix.

Smoke using apple or cherry wood for about 10 minutes extra than what your brownie box say. Test with toothpick at that time. If comes out clean, remove smoker and let cool for serving.

If comes out sticky, allow to bake a few extra minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
