Grilled Pork Chops

This is a simple pork chop recipe.  Hot and fast over the heat! It's easy to throw together and quick to prepare for lunch or dinner! Give it a shot and let us know what you think!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water
1/3 cup Pogey Bait Sweet Honey Sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons Ground Pounder Garlic Seasoning
6 pork loin chops (fat removed)

Directions

In a deep bowl, mix all of the ingredients together to marinate the pork chops

Marinate for at least 1 hour (or let marinate all day!)

Set your grill up for direct grilling

Cook over medium-high heat for approximately 15 minutes (6-7 minutes max per side) - rotate chops 45 degrees for nice cross hatch marks and even cooking

Pork chops will be done at an internal temperature of 145 degrees. Pro tip: You could stop cooking the pork chops when they reach 130 to 135 degrees. Let them rest 5 to 10 minutes.  The residual heat will raise the pork chop internal temp another 5 to 10 degrees depending on the thickness of the pork chop.

EZ BBQ Alternative - this recipe could easily be done in the oven on broil with the same times.
