Grilled Peach and Pork Skewers with Honey-Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3-4 ripe peaches, cut into wedges
- 1 red onion, cut into large chunks
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Pogey Bait Sweet Honey Sauce
- Fire For Effect Sweet Heat Rub (optional)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Skewers:
-
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
-
Thread the pork cubes, peach wedges, red onion, and red bell pepper onto the skewers, alternating between ingredients.
2. Season the Skewers:
- Drizzle the skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Optionally, add some Fire For Effect Sweet Heat Rub for extra flavor.
3. Grill the Skewers:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
-
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and the peaches are caramelized.
4. Glaze the Skewers:
-
During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the Pogey Bait Sweet Honey Sauce over the skewers. Let it cook for a minute or two until the glaze is slightly sticky.
5. Serve:
- Remove the skewers from the grill and serve immediately. These skewers pair well with a light summer salad or grilled vegetables.
