Grilled Asparagus

Sometimes, we take a break from the meats and throw some vegetables on the grill. It always kicks the flavor up a notch!  This is one of our favorites, grilled asparagus. It makes a great side dish to any meal and it doesn't take much time or effort. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

 

Grilled Asparagus

Ingredients: 

1 pound fresh asparagus spears, trimmed

1 tablespoon olive oil

Ground Pounder Garlic Seasoning to taste

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat grill for high heat.


Step 2

Lightly coat the asparagus spears with olive oil. Season with Ground Pounder


Variation - wrap in bacon or prosciutto 


Step 3

Grill over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired tenderness.


Optional - use a toothpick to keep asparagus in groups of 3 or 4 for easy serving
