Burn Pit Burger Bombs
Burgers are a staple at any grill master's home. We shook things up a bit with these Burger Bombs! Bacon, beef, cheese...what's not to love? Give 'em a shot at your next cookout, your guests won't be disappointed!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb bacon
- Two big onions
- Brick of favorite cheese
- Favorite Burn Pit BBQ Sauce
Heat your grill to 325-375 degrees
Form and season your burgers with your favorite seasonings
Peel onions and then make one cut down the middle and carefully separate the layers
Cut cheese into half inch cubes
Fill the hollowed out onions with the burger meat and stuff two to three pieces of cheese directly in the meat
Use the bacon to wrap around the onions and hold everything in place
Smoke with in direct heat for 35 minutes then put directly over the coals to crisp up the bacon for 3-5 minutes
Combine Pogey Bait and Sticky Fire BBQ sauces and drizzle on top for a sweet and spicy combo, but you can never go wrong with a a little bold QRF either
