Burn Pit BBQ Jalapeno Poppers
Bacon wrapped Jalapeno Poppers are a favorite in our house. After years of practice, I think I finally nailed the recipe, so here it is!
These won’t last long, so make sure to make enough for yourself!
The Best Ever Jalapeno Popper recipe
Ingredients:
5 jalapenos - sliced in half and seeds removed
5 slices of bacon cut in half
1 cup whipped cream cheese
½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon Pop Smoke Memphis Style Rub
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
The Process:
Mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Pop Smoke, Worcestershire, and soy sauce in a small bowl
Spoon the mixture into the jalapeno halves
Wrap bacon around the jalapeno
Top with some extra Pop Smoke!
Grill or bake at 400 degrees F for approximately 18-20 minutes or until the bacon is slightly crispy
Remove from heat and enjoy!
