Burn Pit Backyard BBQ Burgers

Be the hero of the backyard with this simple yet tasty burger recipe. The kids will beg you to make them again!


1.5 pounds ground beef
1/3 cup Bold BBQ sauce
1 to 2 tomatoes, cut into slices
1 onion, cut into slices
1 to 2 tablespoon olive oil
6 Kaiser rolls, split



1. Prepare grill for direct grilling. Combine ground beef and 2 tablespoons Bold BBQ sauce in large bowl. Shape into six 1-inch-thick patties

2. Place patties on grates over medium heat. Grill, covered, 8-10 minutes for medium doneness or until 160 degrees F in center of patties, turning and brushing often with remaining bbq sauce

3. Brush tomato and onlin slices with oil. Place on grates. Grill tomato slices 2-3 minutes and onions about 10 minutes

4. Place sliced rolls, cut side down, on grates, grill until lightly toasted. Serve patties on rolls with tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
